Gonnerhea

Were you looking for information about Gonorrhea? Gonnerhea is a common misspelling of gonorrhea.

Gonorrhea, a sexually transmitted disease, is caused by bacteria known as Neisseria gonorrhoeae. The bacteria can grow in moist areas of the reproductive tract and the urethra, and is spread through vaginal, anal, or oral sex. It can also be spread from mother to baby during a vaginal delivery. Gonorrhea infections that are left untreated can develop into serious complications, including infertility. Antibiotics are generally used to treat gonorrhea; although medication will stop the infection, it will not repair any permanent damage done by the infection.
