Gonorrhea is a bacterial infection that is transmitted through contact with the penis, vagina, mouth, or anus. The sexually transmitted disease is curable but can lead to serious conditions if left untreated, such as infertility, epididymitis, ectopic pregnancies, and pelvic inflammatory disease.
